There’s a lot to celebrate at 914 Smiles this week. We’re pleased to announce that Dr. Reshma Kumar, a board-certified pediatric dentist, has joined our team. Thanks to her expertise, we will now be offering pediatric dentistry to the younger members of our community. Raised in Tampa, Florida, Dr. Kumar’s dentistry career began out west where she received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Case Western Reserve University. After graduation, she completed her general practice residency in New Jersey and moved to New York soon after. Here, she specialized in pediatric dentistry and served as chief resident at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx. Now, she’s joined forces with our own Dr. Rishi Kothari as Tarrytown’s latest pediatric dentist.

When she isn’t treating little smiles at 914 Smiles, Dr. Kumar is actively involved in the dental community. She’s a member of the New York Dental Association and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
